My name is LeJueneThompson, the founder. As a young girl I faced many obstacles that could have potentially caused my life to take a negative direction. At the age of thirteen I was arrested (for stealing a Little Debbie cake on a dare) and then labeled as a juvenile delinquent. During this time I also struggled with depression, which resulted in two suicide attempts. I was paired with a Big Sister. Her impact helped to change the trajectory of my life. From that experience, I promised myself that if I were ever given the opportunity, that I would start a group that focused on helping young girls.
